How do payments, deposits and unpaid balances work?
Getting paid
Your customers pay you, never Workforce Assemble.
Money a customer pays your business is yours. It goes where you already take money, and it is entirely separate from your own Assemble Booking subscription.
- ✓Cash and card at the appointmentRecorded against the appointment, so what is still owed is never a guess.
- ✓Your own card terminalTake it on the machine you already have; Assemble Booking records the outcome.
- ✓ZelleYour enrolled name and address, the amount and a reference, all copyable, and your bank's own QR image if you have one. The customer tells you they have sent it; you confirm it from your own bank.
- ✓Deposits and balancesAsk for a deposit or the full amount in advance, and see the unpaid balances list with what is due at the appointment kept apart from what is overdue.
Online card and wallet payments need a connected payment account. Online checkout is not yet available.
Do I need Workforce Assemble? Can I connect my account?
Use it on its own
Run a salon, wellness studio, teaching business, pet service or consultancy with its own booking page and schedule. Assemble Booking has its own accounts and its own data.
Or sign in with your Assemble account
When your business’s Assemble connection is enabled, use Sign in with Assemble on the booking site or Open Booking inside Assemble to access your booking admin without a second password. Ask us about connecting your account.
Business identity and product access are shared. Your customers, your appointments, your employees and your staff records stay separate; cancelling Workforce leaves a separately paid Booking subscription and all of its data working.
